HipChain 2.0 This distance measurer is simple to use and light to carry. The distance walked while marking out forest trails is quickly done with this device strapped to your waist. 5000 metres on a slim thread cone allows a case profile that fits close to your body. It comes complete with a full cone of thread and a waist belt. Buckle one on and go measure!
The reset knob of the distance counter is conveniently mounted at the rear. The the knob's shape allows resetting to zero from from either the top, side or rear. Easy to re-load, the case opens wide where the replacement cone's base simply interlocks with the case. Re-threading is very clear and the parts easily accessed.
Configured either of two calibrations, Metric or Imperial.
Hipchain 2.0 can also be modified to use the small 2500m rolls. These rolls are available with coloured thread for winter use. To use these, an adapter is purchased separately and installed by the user.
